How to apply for a visa or residence permit for Digital Nomads in Brazil?

The temporary visa can be requested at a Brazilian consular office abroad, upon presentation of the following documents:
- Passport or other valid travel document;
- Health insurance valid in Brazil;
- Proof of payment of consular fees;

- Document proving membership, unless it is already included in the travel document;
- Proof of payment of the processing fee (GRU);
- Criminal record certificates or equivalent document from where you have lived in the last five years;
- Declaration of absence of criminal records in any country in the previous five years;
- Documents proving digital nomad status.

How to register a visa or residence permit for Digital Nomads in Brazil?
Registration, with the issuance of a National Migration Registration Card (CRNM), is mandatory for immigrants holding a temporary visa or holder of a temporary residence permit. Immigrants who enter Brazil holding a temporary visa must request registration at any Federal Police unit within 90 days of arrival in the country.
Immigrants who obtain a temporary residence permit in Brazil will have 30 days, after publication of approval, to request registration at the Federal Police unit where they live.
